A little pre valentines enjoyment!
So my little blog about grilling some food suddenly saw a fantastic spike in traffic, thanks to mention in the fantastic blog Food Wishes with Chef John. Welcome everybody who came to see my post on Sous Vide at home.
As is the case when traffic spikes like this happen, I’m suddenly re-energized about The Grilling Man blog and will post far more stuff going into 2014. In the meantime, Happy New Year to all!
Thunderstorm just rolled in. Know what that means? Chicken brats with mango and jalapeño, onions, carrots, celery, and cauliflower. Yeah boyeeeeee!
Tomorrow is the last of the great holidays until July 4th, and we are going to celebrate with nine beautiful NY Strip steaks, done sous vide and a quick finish on Dad’s gas grill.
Lamb ready to enjoy with Saxum Grenache. Yum!
Last week I did a 16 pound rib eye roast sous vide at home with nothing more than a cooler and some know how. Soon I’ll share the secrets.
So often overlooked, time for some wonderful poultry!
I found a three pound roast buried in the freezer. We thawed it out and dry aged it for four days on a salt free Argentine rub. I'll grill it first to char it up and slow roast it. Let's see what happens.
This has nothing to do with grilling. But really, how often do you see a drinking ninja?
